The low sky presses against the edges of the day while bright colours arrive from elsewhere, bright against the muted ground. Unfamiliar sounds drift through the air before dissolving. Everything feels slightly displaced, as though the landscape reflects absorbed fragments of another place without understanding them. In the fading light, traces of movement remain scattered and unresolved — small intrusions of elsewhere which settle quietly into the ordinary fabric of the evening, altering it almost invisibly, one detail at a time.
